The Music Library has a number of public workstations throughout the facility. Public workstations provide full productivity software (Microsoft Office, etc.) and internet access. In addition, the 15 workstations in the listening/viewing area provide networked access to Sibelius music notation software.
The Music Library provides three laptop computers for use in the library. Ask about availability at the Music Library circulation desk. Laptops are available on a first-come/first-served basis and have a 3-hour loan period. Renewals are permitted.
The Music Library maintains a reference collection of audio-visual materials, housed in closed stacks. Circulation staff will page materials for you and you may borrow headphones at the circulation desk to use in the listening/viewing area. The area includes playback equipment for CDs, LPs, audio cassettes, DVDs, and VHS tapes.
